A Silver & Gold Christmas Tablescape

Silver, gold and white christmas tablescape

Happy Holidays! A Holiday Tablescape just for you.

Are you tired of this hectic season yet? To be honest, I'm not. With the scent of trees and decorations everywhere in town it's all so magical and everyone I've come in contact with this season (IRL and on line) have been amazing and in such a festive mood.

Below I did a quick "scape" on my kitchen table. I might tweak it here and there but the golds and the silvers with a touch of purple (my fav) are working really well.

I will probably throw in more faux greenery later.

I wrapped one piece of greenery around a white antique napkin with a larger purple one inside it.

The glass goblets I found at a Habitat for Humanity Store, they only had 3 so I'll be keeping my eye out on getting some sisters for them.

The big silver Santa is a ceramic piece I've had for years (how long do you say?) Well I've had it so long the color peach was popular!.....and if your not familiar with that era.....Your Mom is probably my age.

I almost put this peach and cream colored Santa back in his box but something just made me grab some silver spray paint and give him a update.

These pics with the sun streaming in are good but there is nothing like candlelight!

Lantern & Ladder Tablescape

I did this tablescape one night after dinner when I got inspired by this pot rack that I found for next to nothing and 2 lanterns that hubby purchased for me. (I think he is having major gift issues for me for this holiday....lol)

The wood chargers are from our chainsaw and an old Apple tree in our backyard.

Simple burlap napkins underneath the white leaf plates adds some dimension and division between the two white plates.

I added just a few sprigs of greenery to add a touch of the holidays, but this tablescape could really work for almost anytime don't ya think?

The small ladder is actually for hanging pots and pans and was a recent purchase at my local thrift store, along with the dark ceramic topper that is sitting on top of a glass cylinder filled with pine cones.

I took a chance buying that little topper thingy, I wasn't sure if I had a cylinder it would fit.....but for 2 bucks I figured I could take a chance!

I just did a quick fold on the napkins (corners folded into the center, then flip the napkin and again fold the corners into the center) and placed a white leaf plate on top.

I found about 30 feet of rusted fence wire (not barbed wire) at an antique market last weekend, so I cut a couple of feet and just meandered it from once end to the other with some needle nose pliers. I also wired a pinecone and let dangle from inside the ladder and called it a day.

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did in sharing it with you. Thank you so much for dropping by, take care!
