Spring is showing up more & more around my house. Especially on my table. Those seem so easy and simple to do right now, Spring Tablescapes.
With all the tiny little DIY projects that are incomplete around here, a blonde can feel a little scatterbrained.
When that feeling comes over me, I always turn to my table. Because those I can finish.
No extra money or hammer drill or those 1,000 little things you have to wait on to get things done.
All the dishes come from HomeGoods, along with the tablerunner. Except the pink owls, they were from one of those dollar stores. The bunny napkin rings are a thrift store purchase along with the blue glasses.
The lanterns were a clearance find last year from Lowe's. The green votives were a present from "G".
On my agenda today is hopefully my front porch. If the weather lets me. That's another frustrating thing I am waiting on.
Weather.
Spring brings the rain, so it makes it hard to do without rain gear.
I also feel compelled to keep an eye on Blitz today. Last night when "G" got home we put him in the backyard, and he got in my flowerbed, got wrapped around my Hydrangea tree and didn't like it.
So he pulled himself out of his collar and chain
and decided
to go visit our local library and just walked right in for a visit!
excuse me for one second when I say
Damn Dog!
The employees at the library said he was so happy and friendly! He just toured the library, letting people pet him & sniffing all the books on the shelves.
I swear, we had only taken our eyes off of him for a few minutes. Guess we're going to have to get him chipped.
Yeah, inserted frustrated Mom sigh here
So that's on my to do list today. Weather, Dog, oh and I have to run to the home improvement store for more wall anchors, screws and some doo hickies.
Guess I should plan what's for dinner too while I'm at it. Hopefully something edible.
Oh, I forgot to tell you that!
I made the mistake of buying one of those "I don't feel like cooking frozen meals" and it was disgusting! It made me remember why I don't buy frozen food.
Needless to say I tried to fill up on my salad and baking potato, so let's hope today goes much better than yesterday!
