Christmas Decor in the Dining Room

Hi Guys, I've got the halls decked in the Dining room and I thought it was time to show ya!

I put tiny touches of Christmas through out, because I love decking out the dining room with seasonal decor.

I have a few fundamentals that I do every year for Christmas. One - a tree. I love a skinny tree in this room.

Two - I swag something on my chandelier, and I usually drop some kind of ornament from it too. This year I used my silver snowflakes. Sometimes I do ornaments, or just crystals. I try to switch it up a bit so it doesn't feel stale in here one year to the next.

Also, I brought in an industrial sofa table in here from the Living Room. I hesitated doing this because I honestly didn't think it would fit.

But it fits perfectly, I still have a good 3 feet of clearance between the two tables.

The third thing I always do is dress the windows. This year I did the wreathes.

Once those three things are done I then fly by the seat of my pants. It depends on my mood that year.

I kept my colors white, green and silver for this room and I am loving it.

I have had this room done for two weeks now, I just couldn't believe I didn't want to tweak it. I kept waiting, and every couple of days, I'd go back in and it'd still be fine.

So I finally called "time" on it.

I have a question, you can answer. What age do you stop buying your children presents every year? And when I say stop buying presents, I mean the huge dollar amount we used to spend when they were kids. They're adults now, so when (if at all) do you stop spending large amounts of money per kid? Greg and I are blessed enough to be able to spend money on clothes and some of the gifts they want, but when they get older shouldn't we as parents cut it back a bit when our kids live on their own and start working?

A lot of my friends are saying it's time to do strictly gift cards for millennial kids. Like $50 each and that's it. My youngest is 22, so I am curious. When should I stop spending money on adult kids?
