Whats Blooming in the Garden & I need your help

perennial plants

Gorgeous weather begets gorgeous blooms in my backyard. So I thought I'd share a few shots of what's been going on in that area.

Also, I have a problem area I am going to share with you and ask for your help so look for that at the end of this article.

I planted Anemones in two different beds in my backyard but these are the ones that are performing right now. I planted another grouping next to my garden hose, but they have no buds yet.

I may need to amend that soil a bit, that area gets just as much if not more Sun then this bed.

These bulbs are ones I bought last Fall from Costco. I have to say I was rather biased if they'd bloom. It seems like I was breaking some sort of Gardener Law by buying them from a Warehouse Store.

Wait til you see all the Alliums in a day or two. I planted more of those last Fall and they are just popping open now! Both white and purple and in the front and back. I think its over 50 that I planted.

Another thing I planted was white Camassia. It's a new perennial to me. I have never heard of it. Course I am no master gardener, but I'm learning.

This gorgeous white bloom is what is prompting me to ask your opinion. I have one of those problem areas in my yard and I need some ideas.

Ya'll know as another hobby we go 4 wheeling with a full size blazer and that it will not fit in our garage. You may also remember it is stored behind the garage.

Hence the problem.

Normally I edit it out of my photos, but I am done with just editing and need a more permanent solution, because my brain cannot edit it out in real life, like I can in photo editing software.

See below to illustrate my problem in plain view.

It frankly is not doing my flowers and future peony buds justice. No matter how much it rusts.

I grabbed Greg, the truck and a wad of cash and off to Home Depot and we bought posts and plastic lattice to cover the major problem.

Well, most of it. Now my problem. Do I plant behind the shed and do a kind of secret garden thing?

Maybe tuck in a paver or two as a walking path that cuts between the garage and shed?

or do I plant something to cut it off. Plant right in front of the garage and shed? It's a full sun area and the distance between the shed and garage is about 39" wide.

If you look below, the 2 peonies that are in this bed will be cut down after they're done blooming and will then provide space to add maybe small flagstone pavers tucked in between the lavender that's coming back. (Thank god!)

Lattice

The lattice is helping a lot, but I still need "more" and I'm hoping you have some suggestions.
