Country Purple Tablescape

Using Italian Dessert plates and some polish pottery I set a purple and white tablescape.

There is a mixture of thrift store and department store dishes, along with various gems I found around the house that I used for a centerpiece.

I have collected a few of barn pulleys out junking and I have been wanting to use them on a table and finally found a way too.

I like adding that unexpected touch to a table, I think it really amps it up, don’t you?

The grape leaf dessert plates were a thrift store find a couple of years ago. I did some online research and found they aren’t valuable, but I love them.

The other two dishes were found at a local HomeGoods.

I am still busy tweaking various projects around the house. Buying pull out shelving for my butlers pantry. (If you missed those posts you can see the last post HERE)

Also, I am hoping to finish up mulching the flower beds this weekend if the weather allows. If not, I will probably do yucky laundry.

It seems like spring is finally here, our windows are open and the breeze is blowing in.

Plus I have little sprouts popping up all over, so garden pictures will be coming soon.

Last weekend I was helping my sister paint her deck. We did a two color effect of her 2 favorite colors. I can't wait to see it all finished with her outdoor furniture and flowers blooming.

I regret to say that I didn't get pictures of when her Cat named Tom Tom, got into a puddle of paint underneath the deck. (spillage accident) I think that fat little furry creature rolled in the red paint because he covered about 70% of his body with it. Boy were we laughing!

He looked like a 20lb pudgy red berry.

The whole time we were washing him off in the kitchen sink, I had a hold of his front paws for my sister and he was just giving me a look full of pure hatred.

He would have clawed my eyes out if I let him go…He definitely is not a lover of bathing. At least in water.

Well, that is what I have been up too lately, anything new in your life?

XO,

Christine
