Rustic Fall Table

Rustic Autumn Centerpiece and Table

Creating a Fall Vignette or even a Tablescape seems to be more fun sometimes then doing one in any other season doesn't it?

Using real pumpkins and faux ones I set a gorgeous Autumn centerpiece with a galvanized tray I had and then started playing with dishes on the table for a rustic look.

I had to sit down at this table yesterday and just breathe. I had just started making lists of things to do for the Christmas Season, and was hoping to start my holiday shopping.

I like knowing that the money I spent was kind of spread out over the course of a couple of months instead of trying to come up with the money for my Christmas Eve Family Dinner (Prime Rib) and the presents.

Plus any new decorations that I can't live without.

Well what is it people say? We make plans and God Laughs. Well now we have a serious issue of a leak in the bathroom that is compromising the sub floor.

We have to get this done ASAP, or the toilet upstairs is going to end up downstairs.

My outlook on this is

Well, it could be worse, right? So I will put on my big girl panties and suck it up!

Looking at this table really takes my mind off the bathroom leak.

Below is a view of the tobacco basket I bought at the 2015 Fall  Antique Stroll. If you missed that epic post, you can view it by clicking HERE.

By taking a step back from the table and taking a wider shot, I can show you some of the changes I have been making in the Dining Room.

I have been removing pictures because I am trying to remind myself that less is more. And that the human eye needs a break between pieces.

I hope you enjoyed this table and will pin it and share it with your friends.

Have a great day!

XO,

Christine
