July Garden Tour

Backyard garden tour showcasing creative hedging techniques for a zone 5 flowerbed

Hi! I know you probably think I have forgotten about Blogging but I have actually been spending so much time with friends and outside gardening that is has kind of taken a back seat. Also, I am starting to move forward a bit and do more videos on Youtube and Instagram. Maybe my tastes are changing?

I spent a bit more time on this video and it is a much longer one, it is a full garden tour both front yard and back...so please hop on over to Youtube to watch it. It's free to watch!

Looks good, Christine. Some of my favorites: The rebar plant stakes holding containers, the hydrangeas, esp the newly planted side of the house, alternating with the butterfly and the other (was that weigela?), and the daisies with the variegated red twig dogwood (am I right on that one?). I could see what you consider the fails - the cedar (wah wah wah) and the one grass. The main thing on those is trying to understand why. Do you know why? Esp that one grass being next to one that thrives - mystery. The vegetable beds were a surprise! You definitely have your work cut out for you, let alone working with the garden club! Nice to see Blaze enjoying the garden, and looking quite calm!

It looks great, Christine. You are working your tail off this summer and it shows. Well, if we need to distance, what better spot than a garden?!
