Creating a tablescape for me is always such fun. Fall is one of those times when it feels refreshing doesn't it? The heat is going away, you can turn off your A/C. The leaves start to turn beautiful colors. Next to the upcoming Christmas holidays, it's that time of year that if you go overboard, people understand and even embrace it.
For this table I wanted to start off easy. I had to keep telling myself to keep it simple. It wasn't easy though. I have two large plastic totes that seem to be giving me a seriously pissed off look that I am ignoring them. I will go overboard on my next table, I promise.
There's no lack of inspiration online or on Pinterest for me, House Beautiful sent me an email that got me started this season on Fall Table Decorating Ideas. I have been spending so much time outside that it felt good to spruce up the inside a bit and this tablescape was the start for me. I didn't want to over do it on this one. I just wanted to get my feet wet and ease into it.
Ironic that I always like to start in this room to kick off a decorating fiesta, we haven't sat in this room for months! I still adore my RH dining table and the drapes I found a couple years back online though. Maybe this will inspire me to eat in here soon.
Using all things that I have had for a few years. The chargers are a gift from Hubby, they came from Target. The square white dishes are HomeGoods, the white circle salad plates are Pier One. Sorry, I don't have a link for you if you'd like to add these to your collections.
The purple glassware was a Thrift Store find. The white pumpkins are Dollar Tree a couple of years ago.

Hi Christine! Happy fall. I always love your tables. You mix feminine and masculine style the way I love it. The feathers and galvanized chargers are great. That pillow against the chair and tree - awesomely rustic, beautiful colors! We are having really great weather too, but I am on the verge of mental exhaustion with all the crap I'm doing trying to toggle from condo to house. I want to be settled there and sold here, and it can't happen soon enough.
I think this dadblasted pandemic has kept more than a handful of us away from our beautiful dining rooms.😕 I think we have eaten in there only a dozen or so times over the past couple of years. Traffic is starting to pick back up a bit, though, so my extravagant expenditures are once again justified…in MY mind.😉
I love the deep purple lumbar pillow in the chair! I keep lumbars on our end dining chairs for that very reason: a pop of color for the predominantly white room. Adds texture, too. Nicely done! Pheasant feathers are a great touch this time of year! And, as always, hooray for all the shades of purple!!!
Have a fantabulous week!!!
