Got Wood? A Rustic Tablescape

I'll be honest....I haven't put much thought into this tablescape....

I have been spending hours and hours in in my dining room, painting, adding base molding. I am done with the trim and painting, but I still need to have the drapes cut in divided in half. I bought 2  52" wide panels a couple of months ago and thought I'd like the look of one on each window....well I don't....and I gave my sewing machine away years ago but it literally despised me!

and I despised it! That stupid bobbin thingy....we had issues with each other....many times! So, just to have the last word....I sold him for one dollar at a yard sale (yes my sewing machine was male, cuz he was a royal jerk!)

I bought Behr paint again (I'm a fan of their paint) but this time, going from dark to light is taking 3 coats of paint, and the trim? 4 coats...so now me and my 6' ladder are best buddies...

I had to do something pretty....

 Something frivolous...

My little black and white cow was found years ago at a yard sale...I have never been a fan of the "cow motif", but when I saw this little guy...He was just so darn cute!

I might be high off of the paint fumes, because I forgot to place silverware on the table

The wood chargers are hand made. The dishes are from Pier One and Tuesday Morning. The glasses are Pier One. The lonely bed spring was found at a Hammond Salvage, The Napkin rings and napkins are thrift store finds. The really rusty V thingy...we don't know what that is, hubby found those in a wood box that was being thrown out and he grabbed 2....he thought they'd make great candle sticks...:-)

Have a wonderful weekend!!
XO,

Christine
