Timeless Spring Decor

Spring tablescape using pinks, purples, moss and gorgeous concrete bunnies for a spectacular table

I am gearing up for Spring here in Indiana. It will show here and I want to be ready. So when I found  Tulips at my local store, that was almost as good as being able to wear pretty sandals after a pedicure. I also broke down and purchased some pretty pricey glass chargers for my table, with the thought that they will get used several times.

If you haven't guessed yet, yes they are purple chargers. I found them online and had to fake patience as it took 3 weeks to get them. I decided to really try and go all out on this table and I laid down moss as a table runner, and I'm glad I did.

I dug out some pastel colored napkins, some ice cream bowls and shopped the house for the rest. I am liking it a lot, especially since I brought the concrete bunnies in before they got snowed on so I could use them here.

You can see in the background I bought the new curtains and am loving them. They are darker and softer fabric which looks great mixed in with some browns around the room.

The purple glass chargers are from Z Gallerie. I had them in a shopping cart for so long that they enticed me with a coupon.

That's when I bought them and they paid me back by shipping them inside 3 boxes. They are apparently serious about things getting shipped properly.

The kitchen got painted last week. Thanks to Greg. I had asked him to paint the tall stuff that his wife couldn't reach and he ended up painting most of it. I kinda complained, but in the end I'll go back and touch up the spots where he hit the ceiling. The kitchen is now a medium dark grey. I think I found a nice pattern for trim on my upper cabinets, I need more time to investigate though, so it may be another month before I paint the other cabinets white.

This table was a nice view to look at last week as my kitchen was still in total chaos. One day the paper towel holder was on one side of the kitchen, the next it was in the entryway.

It was making me twitch.

Thanks for dropping by and I have a great day!

Oh God, that's pretty!! I would leave that in place for a couple months, it's so pretty to look at. Love the bunny sniffing eye tulips. You know I love the purple! Those chargers are the crown jewel. Ima steal those when you take Blaze for a walk, lol. Seriously, the room looks really good and I love the wall color with the curtains and tablescape. Definitely rustic and refined!
